Revision Strategies

Welcome to the Revision Strategies Homepage!

Some tips...

  • Revise in short chunks and take regular breaks - make a timetable for revision/homework

  • Avoid simply reading books and notes - instead, make flashcards or mind maps on specific topics

  • Practice exam questions regularly!

  • Avoid distractions - save them for your breaks!

  • Use topic checklists to help you identify what to focus on.

Here are some extra things to consider when revising...

  • Practice plotting and analysing graphs, labelling them correctly

  • Learn the relevant equations

  • Practice re-arranging equations

  • Learn how to calculate the mean (average) number from sets of data.
