About the Portal

Welcome to the Science Resource Portal. The purpose of this website is in conjunction with a current education-based undergraduate research project at the University of Reading on the encompassing social science methodology of science capital. Further, this website is intended as a digital service for GCSE to A-Level Students studying Science subjects... with the hopeful intention to rolling out to the lower school should the outcome of the project be met with positive affirmations. However currently, is beyond the scope of the project investigative criteria.

Browsing this website, you will find useful revision materials & resources that are downloadable, embedded links to other useful websites (like Tassomai for example) and information about Science in everyday for you to interact with, at any time. Additionally, there is an action-packed careers tab, for students interested in pursuing a careers pathway of interest within the realm of STEM. Should you have any queries about this website, there is a link to an MS Form where you can input your queries and/or suggestions for this website on most footers of each page. Otherwise, please do not hesitate to contact Mr Hackland through his email: oliver.hackland-crowther@hallifordschool.co.uk

I do hope that you find this website useful and will be kindly open to any feedback that you may have during the implementation period of the project (w/c/ 31/10.22).
